climbers

I promise this is the last time I am going to complain about my failed Gardenfort. Really, I put it behind me. I just wanted to share photos of the vines that should have been thriving on it right now. When I started the seeds for the fort I had a few extra so I planted a Cypress vine at my mailbox (below) and a few Black eyed Susan vines by the deck (above). The rabbits somehow never found them. I'm not sure if I'm glad to see them now or just more sad over the fort loss when I realize how lovely it could have been!

  3. Beautiful flowers as usual and speaking of flowers, there were so many beautiful ones at your Grandmother's funeral. The tribute to your Grandmother Day is beautiful and yes, she's HOME!

  4. About the watermark, do you have Photoshop? I have Elements 6.0. I know you can do it in there, but I just haven't messed with it yet. I'm thinking you just add text and make it transparent.

BUT I added this particular watermark using Picasa 3 (beta version right now). It's super easy with Picasa. Just open up a picture, click on "text" and then it's easy to figure out from there. Picasa 2.1 did not have this option, so you have to download the new version that came out a couple of weeks ago.

  5. Do you shoot in RAW or jpg?

Now that I have Elements to convert them to jpg, I am finally shooting in RAW all the time. I don't mess with 90% of the stuff Elements offers, but I do a few tweaks here and there. If you use RAW files, you can really improve your pictures.
